Giubileo - AREZZO

We stumbled across this place while looking for a romantic dinner on a warm evening. It was attractive to us for its familial but modern vibe. The food was very good Tuscan fare. The tomatoes in the panzanella were fresh and delicious and the Ragu d'anatra was also full of flavour. The cantucci were a little dry but tiramisu that followed was divine. Wine list was small but even the house wine was amazing so we would assume the Brunellos at the bottom of the list would be incredible value at €40. Waiting staff were attentive, warm and friendly but didn't speak great English, so make sure you have some basic restaurant-level Italian, although the menu was in both Italian and English. The chef came out and said hello to everyone but the locals all seemed to know each other anyway, which was a nice sign. Would highly recommend this place.

The food literally melts in your mouth, the flavours are perfectly combined, the pasta is fresh, the service is very nice. From antipasti to dessert, everything was perfect.

The wine list was small, but also the house wine was amazing, so we the Brunellos at the bottom of the list would be incredible value at €40.
