Il Solito Posto - Arcidosso

Local friends brought us here for dinner. Usually in the area the first course is pasta-based and the second is meat-based. Here I could finally find a rice dish and some fish. It was a nice change! The staff is friendly, they would even clean the fish for you! Only problem is the TV, I spotted two and they are always on. When we asked to turn one off, the owner muted it but refused to switch it off completely, despite the four of us being the only customers around that night.

We really enjoyed eating at this place, the food was genuine, home-made, the atmosphere authentic. The service was also very good, the people were really nice with us and we felt like home. Also, the quality of the food was very high, very honest quality/price ratio. We will definitely go again.

After 3 years in the area we finally tried it out,based on a friend's positive experience.we were not disappointed.the hosts are very cordial and the place is spotless.the menu was interesting and even the salad was special.both pastas were excellent and so was the fish with roast pototoes.the roast veal was just ok.the yoghurt mousse was delicious.we will definitely go back.
