Domenico's Italian - Arcadia

One of the standout features of this restaurant is their attentive service. They had two bus boys who consistently checked in, refilling our drinks and clearing our plates, in addition to our server. It was a nice touch. Most dishes come with a salad and garlic bread. The salad was pretty basic—just some lettuce, a bit of cabbage, black olives, mozzarella, and dressing. The “garlic” bread didn’t have much garlic flavor, but it served well for soaking up my pasta’s tomato sauce and my son’s alfredo sauce. As for the pasta, it was fantastic! I ordered the Spaghetti alla Checka, which features spaghetti with fresh chopped tomatoes, whole garlic, fresh basil, and a light butter sauce. It truly felt light and fresh, especially after adding a bit of parmesan and red pepper flakes. My son had the Alfredo Special, which consisted of linguine with alfredo sauce, chicken, and broccoli. He enjoyed it, though he preferred to load it with parmesan, while I found it delicious as it was. I would happily return to Domenico’s for both the service and the main courses. I’m curious to see if the rest of their menu is just as good!

As for the "garlic" bread, it didn’t really taste like garlic, but it was still great, especially when paired with some tomatoes from my pasta and my son’s Alfredo sauce. When it came to the pasta, I had a bite of my son’s dish, and both were fantastic. The sauce was light and wonderful, although my son prefers heavier sauces and piled on the parmesan. I thought it was perfect just the way it was! I would definitely return for the excellent service and the delicious main courses, and I’m curious to see if the rest of the menu is as good as what we had tonight!
