Contribuiți la feedbackWe had dinner there for the place is conveniently located near the theaters and we were intrigued about the washing machines. Not that I've never seen one, but not in a restaurant. The food was ok, the falafels had an interresting flavour like an unusual spice I guess (maybe sumac? I was less convinced about the avocado bagel.
There were only three entrees on the menu, only one vegetarian, though they said they could make it vegan. it was delicious supposed cauliflower. I had the aubergine starter that tasted good, but nothing was great. I also had the young carrot side dish, which caramelizes very sweet, but also nothing incredible. in general, not worth the price, although it is probably the best carb I ever had.
They serve vegetables without any fantasy. It’s a really beatiful place to be, but the food disappoints. For this money i expect a lot more. It’s like they just cook the food and don’t think about flavoring. They can learn a lot from the chef from Native
This is a great place to go to if you need a restaurant that 's vegan-friendly with meat eaters colleagues. It 's often difficult to find something that 's appropriate to go to with your boss for example. For that, Graanmarkt 13 is perfect. The staff is very friendly and vegan is known and no problem (they even knew not to include honey). The only downside is that the dish is the 'normal ' dish without the animal products and with maybe a few tomatoes instead. Mind, the tomatoes will be prepared very well, but... I should add that my boss said ' if all restaurants served vegan food like this, I wouldn 't mind being a vegetarian so much '.
The vegan dishes looked like they had just left out the animal derived ingredients... It's a nice place to have lunch or dinner and it's great they are willing to serve a vegan menu on request, but the vegan dishes should be more than the regular dishes without the animal products. Value for money could be a lot better.
