This is the perfect place for a perfect day!!!! if you are looking for a quiet place with traditional dishes and nice staff, go for them!!! the portions are huge, full of taste and aromas!! We had beef, scavenger and turkey to die!!!! Prices... are good and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable!!!!
We had a delicious meal here from gorgonzola gnocci and a few different pizzas for our children. This resturant is located directly on an outdoor swimming pool/sea bath with a fantastic playground for children. Parents can enjoy a nice dinner while the children play on the playground. great food, great location. Service is European, so you have to wait. This is not the USA where waiters are at your pool and call. We had a good experience.
The small town of St. Martin is ideal for beginners and especially families with kids learning to ski. The restaurant is next to the skischool and the Knabllift, the meeting point for all skiclasses. The kids have lessons from 10:00-12:00 and 13:30-15:30 and in the...one and half hour lunch break families generally troop into the Da Moare restaurant. As my kids mentioned: It 's a good restaurant mom, because when you order you get your drinks really quickly! . And this is absolutely true. Service is quick and cordial. The menu contains a large selection of pizza 's, but Austrian traditional food as well, such as Schnitzel (though pork, not veal), Rostbraten etc. There is a children 's menu with easy to remember names as Hansel and Grettel (sausage and fries), Speedy Gonzalez (children 's pizza) and spaghetti etc. As I did not want to eat only meat the whole week, I opted for a grilled chicken breast salad for a couple of times, which was a great choice. So don 't be afraid if you 're not big on pizza or meat. I did find the pizza 's a bit heavy on salt if I had to criticize. For dessert there was applestrudel (and some other choices), which though I did not try it myself, I was told was good. Another positive thing in my opinion was that when my kids ordered hot chocolate the temperature was adapted to not so scolding hot so they could drink it right away. Little touches like that make it a very agreeable place for families. Don 't expect a very fancy place, nor a traditional Austrian Gasthof type restaurant, but a great place for lunch when skiing, that provides quick service, is clean and not too expensive. For lunch with two adults and two children including drinks we spent about 45 euro 's. Expect maybe a bit more if you order more drinks and/ or alcohol. BTW Pizza 's are takeout too.
Einfaches essen an der Schipiste, wie man es seit 40jahren kennt, allerdings z Preisen von heute.Fazit: wenn der Hunger groß genug ist...
