Frangipan - ANGOURIE

This restaurant is the ideal spot for a quick and delicious meal. Their fries are some of the best around, and their mussels are cooked to perfection. They are open during the high season.

Great little place, if your in the area stop for a coffee have you coffee anyway you like it. The area is surrounded by beautiful beaches with by surf. Very nice place!

The service at this restaurant was fantastic - friendly, quick, and helpful. We dined here with four adults and two children and enjoyed delicious coffees, babycinos, cakes, and ice creams. It was a lovely morning and we would definitely return.

After an amazing surf session at Angourie, I decided to head to the café for breakfast. The morning sun was already shining brightly, and with the weekend paper in hand, I was looking forward to a relaxing time. The café was bustling with people, and it was a pleasant surprise to run into some old friends. Although there was a bit of a wait for my food, the strong coffee arrived promptly and kept me satisfied. The café had the cozy charm that is characteristic of small surf communities, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a morning in the water. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious - definitely a must-visit if you're in the area.

While staying nearby in Yamba, we had an enjoyable meal at this (only) restaurant at the small seaside settlement of Angourie. On the night we dined the menu consisted of a broccoli and cauliflower soup (delicious) followed by one of five options for the main course (one vegetarian, one fish and three meat). While in both cases our meat (steak and pork belly) was a little on the dry side, the meals were tasty and came with well-cooked and quite generous vegetable accompaniments. In addition to the fixed price of $30 for soup, main and a glass of wine, there were three other side dishes for $6 each and four dessert options for $12. There are also apparently now children's meals for $12 although there were no kids there when we dined. All in all, a nice meal and very good value.
