Great Alaska Pizza Company - Anchorage

I have had certain brands of frozen pizza come out better. We had to take our pizza home and stick it in the oven to try and get some color on it. Then it basically tasted like the school pizza from when I was growing up. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the gentleman who took our order was incredibly friendly.

When it is pizza night, I would definitely recommend this place. Whether it be pick-up or delivery it never takes too long for your order to be ready or delivered. Prices are fair and the pizza is always good. I would recommend there stuffed crust pizzas. And if you like your pies cut Chicago style, they will accommodate.

The pizza was good. It reminded me of an upscale Little Caesars. The price was decent. We paid $29 for medium pizza with red onion, Canadian bacon, and pineapple and a large cheese with an order of breadsticks. The breadsticks definitely need some more butter brushed over them. I wasn’t a huge fan of the marinara sauce because it had a very Italian herbs seasoning taste. The delivery was going to take an hour so we opted to do carry out. Overall, the pizza is worth trying.

Went on their customer appreciation day, I expexted it to be busy and it was. .Not the issue. The issue is I ordered 2 medium pepperoni pizzas and theor cinnamon bites. They made the cinnamon bites first, which were of course not even the slightest bit warm by the time I got my 2 pizzas 21 minutes later. Yes, the bites were done in the first five, then the pumped out a bunch of regular cheese/pepperoni pizzas which took 21 more minutes to get me my stuffed crust. Also I had ordered 2 medium stuffed crust, which should have been $6 additional for the stuffed crust per their menu 3 for med, 3.50 for large) but was charged $7. Whrn I asked about it the cashier stated it was 3.50 each, I pointed to the sign which said 3...and he again said 3.50. I only give 2 stars because the pizza was what I expected out of cheap stuffed crust pizza, else it would have been 1. Seriously bad service.

As much as it pains me to say this because I like their pizza, I am very disappointed with this store. I make a phone-in order, and they tell me about 30 mins for my order. I had a few things to take care of before getting the pizza, so I get there after that time (40ish mins), get handed an order and realize it 's not mine, the young lady says yeahh, your order was never made ... my order was never made?!?!? WTF? unacceptable and chances are not getting my business again.
