Southside Bistro - Anchorage

Absolutely loved the experience! Can't say enough about the wait staff and the cooks. Food was outstanding and delicious.

Great place for a special occasion. Definitely get the dessert. It's worth it.

We tried this spot for the first time on a date night. We were seated a little early for our 5pm reservation, in a nice booth on the bar side. Our server, Gina, was so wonderful and helpful in accommodating my need for soft foods due to poorly-timed dental work. She even requested the kitchen to “over cook” my pasta. Our meals were flavorful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and all the staff were quite friendly. We will definitely be back again!

Having a catch up fest over some pino noir and snacks was restful and cozy at this place.

The food is always exceptional. The service is attentive and helpful, yet never overbearing. The wine list is well curated for any enophile. Oh, yes, there is a good beer selection as well. Casual or fancy, this restaurant is one of Anchorage's deserving favorites! Not to be missed.
