Really pretty average, decor is dated and tired. I know all accommodations in the downtown are pricy, but for $500 a night I expected a bit more.... The...
From the welcome received to the good wishes when leaving, it has been a perfect dining experience to always remember Alaska! Old Fashioned Maple cocktails, fried olives and foie gras mousse, salmon and halibut elegantly flavored with their sides, bestbanana split with port wine, all enjoyed with the best view of Anchorage! Thank you all!
The Crows Nest was my favorite restaurant many years ago but that changed after a few bad meals there. Recently, I heard that issues were resolved so I gave it another shot for my birthday. Sadly, it was unremarkable. I had the lobster bisque which wastasty (scallop bisque at 7 Glaciers is amazing) and the crab legs which were good (crab legs at Sullivan's are fantastic). Thedrinks were good too. But when I compare the atmosphere and prices I'm looking for better than just good. I will say theirbananas foster dessert made table side is still my favorite dessert in town. So, maybe go here for dessert and/or drinks only.
