Casey's General Store - Ames

We ordered pizza through the app tonight. When I went in to pick up our order and the price was not correct as what app had said. The young man working the front counter was so patient and finally got everything figured out after asking some questions to other co workers because he mentioned he was still somewhat new. I would have never guessed as he was very professional. He is a very good asset to Casey's along with one of the kitchen gentlemen as well. Very impressed.

Clean, organized, stocked, and well-managed from what I can tell on my various visits here. Love the cappuccino/hot chocolate, (when in stock, heh). Only qualm(s) would have to be almost never having potato cheese bites available to go and the bathroom tends to be a bit gross on occasion.

Casey's has a frequency of 9 and I think it's just because the pizza smells so good and usually got a little cutie back there I know you know and I wouldn't mind dating you in the middle Casey's Pizza girls yeah that's right

8/14/22 I 'd noticed for awhile Casey 's Ames gas prices were dramatically different than Casey 's Ankeny. $3.89 in Ames versus $3.15 in Ankeny today. That 's called price gouging. That 's .74 cents difference for being 20 miles up the interstate. I 'd asked the guy filling the tanks in Ankeny why the big price spread. He started with the supply and demand... distance from the distributor... . I kept pressing him and he said, Because they can.

Just like they said! Casey's donuts are the best around. Aside from that, I always go here for gas or a cold soda. Casey's always delivers when it comes to a regular place to stop, gas up, use the restroom. I have been here COUNTLESS times. Easy to get to right off Duff on the edge of town. What more could you want? If I am not mistaken, we had a friend who worked here. Or someone my little sister liked, or something. Too many memories I would rather not remember. :
