Smiling Budha - Amed

It's a unique restaurant located not far from the Japanese shipwreck in east Amed, based with the Meditasi Bungalows hotel. Besides the usual indonesian selection, they offer a number of unique Balinese drinks and dishes, that are a must to try. After enjoying the meal and a nice tranquil view, we could use the new healing pool located on the premises. Aside from the pool, there is a coral garden in the ocean, easily accesible right from the restaurant. Overall, highly recommend, both the restaurant and the pool are totally worth a visit.

We spent 3 days in the Amed area and much of that time was spent here, this restaurant is amazing! So relaxed, incredible views and the owner is something special. The food and drinks were interesting, fairly priced and delicious and the atmosphere was great. There are daily cooking and yoga classes hosted here both at a fair price.

The food was the best we've had in Bali! Fish curry and laksa were just amazing. The staff were super sweet and helpful. You MUST eat here.
