Amboy Family Pizza

Stopped for supper on a Sunday night with a group of 12 people. The staff was happy to accommodate as it wasn’t overly busy. Food was good and the pizza very good with lots of cheese. Menu was typical of a family restaurant and very reasonably priced our group of 12 ate for $85. Food portions were all quite large. Building decor could use some updating as the room we ate in looked like it might be stuck in the 90s, but don’t let the look turn you off. Cash only.

Tried the avocado blt omelet and it was amazing!! I highly recommend. Also very friendly service!!!

We stopped for breakfast on our way to golf, good food, friendly waitress, hot coffee, hot food!

Went to the Amboy Family Restaurant for a late lunch our waitress was very nice it was her first day but she was very helpful. There was another woman in there that was not friendly or helpful. The restaurant is your run of the mill family restaurant nothing special and a bit run down but it is clean. The food was ok, I ordered a steak sandwich which was supposed to be served on a hoagi roll but instead it was served on toast which was super dried out and the steak was very thin and cooked beyond well done so it was like leather. Another person at the table ordered a Colorado burger he said it was ok, not anything outstanding the third person ordered a Reuben she said it was good but wasn't a fan of the rye bread but that is on her not the restaurant. The soup was good it seemed hot and fresh. We ordered an appetizer of cheese curds they were tasty and hot.

We have been at this restaurant before. The waitresses are wonderful, just work on the salad. They are not fresh. We like this place. Thanks.
