Corn-fed Rascal - Alton

Below Wisconsin host family and decided to give this place an attempt for some southern cuisine. Not disappointed. Had Wels and a whiskyburger and everything was homemade and delicious. Cool decoration too. My nephew tried sweet tea for the first time and talked about it for days. Unfortunately, they had to close for Covid before we could do it again. Next time we're in town! Love this place and the name too!

Very good! First hint was how great it smells outside. Menu options or buffet, and we chose it for the latter after the eyes. Delicious treat. Hubby was impressed by the fried chicken (XL size chicken legs) and the smashed pork chops and lasagna had torn me..so I both broke down. Left room for ice (okay, I have a baby cone) and happy that we. Server was great, very friendly. Overall welcoming, comfortable place. We look forward to the next visit.

The 30-minute drive is worth eating here. Best buffet! They cook like my grandmother. Not only do they have amazing food, but they also help their community in a variety of ways. Tessa and Rick are great people who work honestly and hard. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!!

Amazing!! I can't stress this enough huge portions. Great friendly atmosphere. They also serve some spring diper ice cream! They also have a buffet! The fries are hand cut! The ranch seems to be homemade and is very good. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! The sandwich in the picture I think is the rascal is a sandwich with Mac n cheese and pulled pork between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I have also bad a few of the other burger options and you can get pretzel buns!

Never been before and the food was excellent. The service was great too. Will definitely come back.
