Alton Burger Palace

The burgers were a decent size, but they didn't have much beef flavor on their own. I found a previous review by Donna to be accurate, as it seems they are using soy. The fries were pretty bland without any condiments; the frying oil tasted old or maybe they use something I'm not accustomed to. The taste didn’t match the delicious aroma wafting from the grill. Additionally, I felt the prices were a bit high for what we received. The staff was youthful and a bit awkward, and we experienced some personal drama while waiting for our takeout, which was somewhat entertaining. However, this is typical small-town behavior and not entirely unexpected. They were friendly, though. If you absolutely need a burger, this place could be the best option among the choices available. Just to be clear, I’m quite selective and brutally honest in my assessments.

The food was delicious, although it took some time to arrive. However, I will definitely return.

The best burgers and shakes can be found in the small town of Alton, MO. The staff always greets you with a smile! You can choose to dine in, take out, or use the drive-thru!
