Chef lima is extremely rude, see all his snarky responses on yelp and elsewhere. he will thank me for the one star, if you want to waste $22 on mediocre salty food, be my guest. bring your own utensils, your own bag, your own condiments, just bring your own grandma bc there wasn't one cooking.businesses thrive on customer service and product, this place doesn't provide either.

Definitely not authentic Salvi foodThe pupusas are the worst pupusas ever.Undercooked. Small portions very pricey. Stick to your local pupusa stands. I left a comment about my experience in instagram and they deleted the comment. The person who takes your order is extremely rude. Nasty food bad service. Wish I can do 0 stars unfortunately I cant! Just read the owners response to 1 star reviews he doesn't take feedback well.

So I just was at a food truck event in Valencia I got 6 pupusas One order of garlic fries and a drink it was $80 And to top it off I asked for a bag to carry all my boxes in and he wanted to charge me another 50 cents for a plastic bag where did they come up with these prices you know damn well they don't charge this in other neighborhoods but I was in Valencia and they're trying to price gouges over here total rip off and waited for 30 minutes to get my food. If these prices were there normal prices this truck would be out of business because nowhere in no other neighborhoods is gonna pay $20 for 3 pupusas

I am so confused by the 5 stars. Maybe there family members or friends. I went to granada hills saw all the trucks decided to get pupusas (1st time trying). Bought 3 pupusas for 17.50 (ok that 's way pricier than most actually amazing pupusa places) but I was like if they are good and worth it why not pay.. 1st red flag he said do you want a bag or not because If you do I have to charge an extra 25 cents. Like if i 'm not already paying enough for pupusas to include the bag. Anyway there was no line, not even 1 person ahead of me. I waited and let the guy know I would go walk around to check out the other trucks. Walked around came back they were still not ready. Waited there and watch him making pink/red masa balls like he makes tortillas in the tortilla machine. Another red flag. He finally gave me my order. Since theres no seats obviously drove home to eat. (not a problem) My pupusas were like 2 tortillas made in the machine pressed together looked like a mulita quesadilla ... Guess he doesn 't know how to make them by hand (the traditional way). He uses the tortilla machine. they looked so weird ! I take the first bite, and the masa is raw ! Yuck! the pupusas look nothing like the picture. Worst pupusas ever, with raw masa and very small for the price. I was in shock Spending almost 18 bucks ! Like Wow I 've never had worst pupusas. Even the 1.50 special pupusas near my house are 10x better and same size as these, well cooked. My 9yr daughter spit it out when I let her try. Raw masa !!! Lots of white people in that area and walking around the food trucks. Maybe they buy? and don 't know about real yummy tasting pupusas! The fact that he has a picture on the truck of the pupusa and they look nothing alike or like the one on his instagram is such a joke to customers

I watched this truck park in front of a lady selling valentines baskets on the corner in Pasadena. She asked if he could just pull up a few more feet in order to allow cars passing by to see the items she has for sale, but he refused. Even thought the lady was at the spot first, he refused to even compromise. His actions speaks volumes and i definitely wouldn't buy anything from him after that behavior.
