Windward Tavern - Alpharetta

This is an amazing local eatery with exceptional food and service. I performed there on Friday, March 23rd, with my acoustic duo, MIB Lite, and we had a fantastic audience. The venue was nearly packed all night long. We will certainly be back!

We encountered a little mishap with our son right after we arrived (I won’t get into the specifics, but it was quite chaotic!). However, the staff handled the situation remarkably well, jumping in to clean up without hesitation. The hostess, who was on her first day, was incredibly kind and even rushed to bring him a Coke to help while we cleaned him up. The waitstaff was exceptional as well! The fish tacos were delicious, with just the right amount of cabbage as they should be. The Brussels sprouts were also excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I must say, the professionalism and kindness of the staff were truly impressive! – Ellen

I chose the classic Reuben, which, despite not being overly hefty, was perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. The 'flipped' corn side dish was fantastic. My wife ordered the fish tacos, and as a Cajun with a discerning taste for fried fish, she thoroughly enjoyed them. Rick, one of the owners, checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were happy with our meals. Our food was served surprisingly quickly, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The kids went for grilled cheese and fries, and our eight-year-old, who is a grilled cheese fan, rated it highly. Overall, this is a great tavern and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. My only concern is that I hope we won’t have to wait in line in the coming months once more people discover how fantastic this place is.

The San Diego Fish Tacos were unbelievably good, the Brussel Sprouts were over-the-top delicious, and the atmosphere was incredible. And, most of all, the band was phenomenal (not too loud, either)! Needless to say, I highly recommend this place for good food and a great time!

Windward Tavern was rockin' last night as The Rainmen played and the room danced! The service was so friendly and well trained to handle the big, standing room crowd. The drinks were delish! The dance floor does need to be a bit bigger though. Great place!
