Had breakfast here, freshly cooked and tasty. Guinuinely friendly staff, with a relaxed vibe. The cafe have a great scheme where you can buy a meal for a vulnerable person for a fiver. If you need a meal but have no money they will help

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. It was a cold day and my daughter and I both ordered from the breakfast menu. She enjoyed her full English breakfast, but I was not a fan of my sausage sandwich, as it tasted more like a veggie sausage. The pot of tea I ordered was enjoyable, but the restaurant was freezing inside due to the door being propped open and no heating on. We decided that next time, we will go to our usual café for better quality and quicker service.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, the service is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Additionally, the cafe is dog-friendly, which is a great bonus.

At last the sun shines and so to explore beautiful Cockermouth. We were heading for the history wall when we saw this little place with outdoor seating for a quirky cuppa

This cafe is a hidden gem. When we visited, the woman working was alone, so there was a bit of a wait, but she was very apologetic. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside with our dog. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. It's a wonderful spot for a light lunch and drinks.
