The Lakes Tea Room - Allerdale

Came here to the breakfast speck was like shoe rubber leather burned poached eggs undercut sausages small and burned plate full fat I complained her nothing tee is cheap and nasty never again I would recommend, have apfelschon, which also. under boiled they are trying to poison people I am sure the breakfast was reheated from day before they avoid this place service horribly no apologise what so ever avoid

The lakes garden centre is a beautiful shopping experience in itself, but hidden inside, the lakes tearoom is a fantastic small place that helps not only improve the center but deserves a visit in its own right. I have read some critikens on this website that suggests that the menu is limited and there is not enough choice. I would say to the more valued: pick up a handle and go somewhere else if they want a big lunch or a complete dinner. this is a perfectly adorable little tea room located in a garden center and during your visit it provides buyers. it is not profess to be a culinary experience, and yet it is possible to satisfy the appetit with a wide range of sandwiches and savouries, which is convenient to a light meal or snack. it also has some really great cakes and sweets to offer and offers a standard of service and attention that could be expected far beyond what you could expect for such a place, especially given the constraints of the pandemic. the only challenge for me is how busy the venue is, but it is not surprising because the food and beverage offers are really good and always are presented to a high standard. the effort of the team to meet the needs of the customer are also really obvious, with dings from seasonal drinks such as spiced coffee and boozy hot chocolates, to large small light meal options with a free glass glowing wine. we are members of the lake garden centre club, which cost something like pfund to join. However, within this cost, we get not only advantages and discounts from the business, we also get a free drink in the tea room every month, a free main course when we buy another, and some other great advantages. we will often stop for a coffee, and in the four months since the take-up of this membership we have at least doubled the returns of our investment. the lakes tearooms are a place we are happy to visit anyway, but with these additional incentives it is a real winner, and for a light bite out on a beautiful day outside it is highly recommended.

Here a few tortes paved, but the children discovered waffeln on the specials, so glad that they were amazing what a great pleasure to finish the celebration, personal very friendly, would have given full marks, but the place was a little untidy (food...and cute on the floor) maybe had a crazy hurry and had no chance to clean. will definitely try a few cakes again. x

It was a past since our last visit and we were pleasantly surprised with the way the staff worked at this opportunity. the lady who served us could not have been more nice, the coffee and scenes were first-class. were government guidelines in the restaurant. first class. can wait to go back.

I visited this restaurant with my family, after visiting the homecentre for a family members birthday. I have been to the restaurant numerous times but have recently discovered that I have an allergy to Soya and Lecithin which is an emulsifier and isn't normally on...allergy sheets, this just tends to be on packaging. We got seated and I asked the waitress if they had an allergy sheet/book, just like people would if they had an allergy, the waitress said she would go and have a look. Few minutes later she came back and said they didn't have anything they could give me but asked what the allergy was so she could go into the kitchen and have a look on papers they had back there. Again she disappeared, came back minutes later and said she couldn't find anything to check my allergy, but wanted to know what products Soya is normally in and I just had to avoid this myself. This is fine me doing that but as the Lecithin is an emulsifier I needed to know as it is in alot of products i.e butter, chocolate etc. I picked something that I wouldn't normally order but thought this was the wiser option and really think they need to get something for people to look at.
