The Bench Keswick - Allerdale

We popped in after a cold hike and it was great. Really fresh food. The hot chocolate is proper chocolate the white one is the only white hot chocolate I’ve tried that actually tastes like white chocolate. Lovely interior too. Would be nice to get some more breakfast options.

We frequently stop by in the afternoon for coffee or smoothies. The service is consistently friendly and professional, and the drinks are always excellent. Although we haven't tried the other food options besides the cakes, we have seen others enjoying them and they seem to be worth the price. The drinks and service are exceptional, what more could you ask for?

This hidden gem is located behind the market square and offers fantastic snacks. The hummus bagel was particularly delicious, tasting as if it had just come out of the oven. After a long day in the fells, we treated ourselves to a brownie and a coconut flapjack, both of which were outstanding. Despite its location overlooking Bell Close car park, don't be deterred as the food is definitely worth it.

I visited this restaurant for the first time this morning and I will definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was perfect, especially with the great background music. The views of Latrigg and Skiddaw were wonderful, highly recommend.
