Catch Fish N Chips - Allerdale

This restaurant is first class, good varied menu, well cooked eating, competitive prices, good value senior menu friendly efficient staff.

The restaurant is bright airy and clean, even on the rainy day we went. we were quickly welcomed a table. social distancing is in place and service is friendly and fast. that was wonderful. I had the profitable fish and chip deals with muddy heaps, brot and butter and black coffee. my partner had all the squid and chips with heap and coffee. all perfectly cooked, including most fish in a thin crispy teig that tastes it perfectly. free tartaric acid sauce accompanies it. the process is also very reasonable. only £5,95 for mine! I could dinate here every day for a month and spend less than $200! overall this was a nice culinary experience.

Great cod and chips, freshly cooked with lovely light crispy batter and good thick fillet. Served in a really convenient box. Usually I have to help my kids finish theirs, but not this time, they said I wasn't required!

Fantastic food, and fantastic customer service. Fish and chips is perfect. Other options are fantastic. Chicken curry rice and chips is my favourite, sit in option is recommended, very comfy and clean. Lovely recent refurbishment. Very reasonable prices. Probably one of the best hidden gems in workington. 100% will be returning a lot.

I remember this traditional fish shop as blue dolphin, new ownership now but still as good and a different menu some fresh recipies but I stuck to fish and chips and enjoyed it , large fish was whale sized and perfect batter.
