Cafe Spot - Alhambra

This is an excellent place for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack. The menu is extensive, offering both budget-friendly and more upscale choices, and there’s a wine list perfect for a date night. You can choose from a variety of Western and Asian dishes. The servers are very friendly and attentive, although they might overlook a few details (like forgetting to bring extra napkins or spoons), but just ask, and they’ll be more than happy to help. Overall, it’s a lovely venue with great music, suitable for dining alone or with a group. It can get quite busy during weekend lunch and dinner. A nice surprise was receiving a complimentary dessert with the check!

My first impression of the restaurant is quite favorable. It offers a diverse menu with a Char Chan Tin flair. The space is divided into two sections: one is more formal, while the other features high bar-style seating, perfect for happy hours and casual drinks. There are also comfortable seating options with gas lamp heaters for added warmth.

This place is just another HK Cafe-style restaurant in Alhambra, but I think it stands out from the rest. I ordered the double grill dish with pork chops and sole fish. It was pretty ordinary, but they took a few minutes to prepare it, and I appreciated that because it meant it was fresher. I would definitely come back!

Great authentic Cantonese taste. a bit pricey, though.
