Fontaine Caffe Creperie - Alexandria

I was not expecting this amazing experience when I walked into this Cafe. John, the batista, roasts his own coffee, and his passion for coffee makes this a very fun place to learn about what you're drinking. This was one of the best cups if coffee I've ever had. We also had the quiche of the day and the Norwegian crepe. Both were excellent and served with a healthy serving of fresh greens with a tasty dressing. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely spot with nice crepes and friendly staff. Visited twice while I was in town. Enjoyed the crepe with roasted chicken and Brie and the Moroccan one. Decent lattes, too:

The slogan is accurate. Locals do eat here. Because it's amazing and the crepes are amazing. It's not a secret why this place is a local favorite, and I love coming here at any time of day.

The food is good which makes the fact that the service is terrible and the management is dishonest a disappointment. First, they charge a 10% Restaurant Charge , which is just a way to increase prices but not show it on the menu. Second, they count infants towards your party size, so they can get you to 6 people and charge you the 20% gratuity. Which is especially frustrating because the service was so terrible when we were here, they would have been given a lot less than

What a perfect combination; a charming old world French Cafe in the heart of Old Town Alexandria! Sitting on the brick sidewalk at bistro tables, enjoying crepes, quiche, coffee and conversation. This is the good life! Everything we had was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. Thank you Kali! Thank you Fontaine Caffe.
