Union Street Public House - Alexandria

This is our local bar and restaurant, and I absolutely love it! It's a great spot to relax. Recently, my husband and I brought some friends along, and three of us ordered the fish and chips, which were incredibly delicious. I also tried the Po-boy shrimp sandwich, and it was fantastic as well. Since it's close to our home, we visit often and always have a wonderful time. I can't forget to mention the chips – they were incredibly crunchy and so good, truly a perfect 10/10! The bartender (I can’t remember his name) is really friendly and always remembers us. Plus, the prices for both food and drinks are quite reasonable.

The food was delicious! Our waitress Emily was exceptional. She was very good with our children and served our food and drinks promptly.

This is my favorite restaurant and bar in Old Town. It has been open since 1987! The food is consistently delicious and the bar has a cozy Cheers-like atmosphere. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a pint or two. I highly recommend it!

My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Friday night. The food was served promptly, but it was extremely salty. Our table was situated next to a large group, making it difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. We likely won't be returning.
