Real Thai Kitchen - Albury-Wodonga

A group of us was looking forward to a lovely thai meal, but sadly disappointed. Tempura prawns looked like microwaved offerings, seafood curry seemed OK until the salt hit my mouth later that night leaving me gasping for water all night, and spouse chicken was dry and dreadful and left on the plate. Two visits to this place - the first and the last. Not sure why "food" is such a four letter word in Wodonga. Sorry guys, but if you do this for a living, surely you can do better than that!!

This Thai restaurant is probably the only one which does paw paw salad in Albury-Wodonga. I loved it but my partner said it was a bit too sweet for him. Otherwise it's a great cosy place for a meal. The lighting and room colour gives it a bit of a romantic vibe.

Its a very basic restaurant with very limited clients. The main entrance is grand but dont let that fool you.The food is basic boiled vegetables and frozen fish and prawn bits from a local supermarket. Very little imagination of basic knowledge of Thai food looks or presentation... SAD

On a stopover on the way back to Sydney. We find that takeaway is a lot easier with a one year old and we love Thai so we did some quick research and came across this place. We shared the oyster sauce stir fry with duck, vegetarian Thai fried rice and holy basil chicken - the spice wasn't really there with the holy basil chicken, but it all tasted fresh and delicious and there was a good serving of vegetables in each dish which we really like. We'd definitely eat from there again if we're ever back in the area.

If you want good Thai go to the Real Thai Kitchen, the food is great, the service is good. they also have take away, it is fully licensed. the eating area is inviting and very clean. the food is also reasonably priced
