Prosciutteria Dall'ava - ALBIGNASEGO

Ristorante superbo sotto ogni punto di vista. La scelta tra i salumi e i piatti è talmente ampia e accattivante che ogni volta vado in crisi perché prenderei tutto. Purtroppo adesso mi sono trasferita in un’altra regione e lo frequento meno spesso, ma quando ci posso tornare è una gioia.

Siamo stati una sera con alcuni amici in questa villa, abbiamo mangiato sotto il portico e si stava bene. Il menù era un po' confusionario, non era suddiviso per portate, molto stringato e diverso rispetto a quello visto sulla pagina facebook della Villa...mi aspettavo quindi più varietà di portate...qualcuno ha ordinato la proposta di pesce, era molto buona, ma portando un piatto unico con primo e secondo insieme, ovviamente il secondo si è freddato. Forse sarebbe meglio portarli in due momenti diversi. I tagliolini erano molto buoni, mentre le verdure in padella un po' deludenti (due fettine di zucchine e due fettine di melanzane, con due pezzettini di peperoni, davvero un po' scarsa come presentazione). I dolci nella media. La location vale la gita, ma vista la qualità del pasto, anche se non si spende tanto, non ti viene molta voglia di ritornare.

Rustic restaurant, built in a restored large old farmlike building (a large stable, perhaps) with a beautiful log ceiling .. large courtyard with many tables outside, too. It serves typical local dishes, based on horsemeat or bacalao, and something more ... international (Angus steak), but it specializes in north-east Italy's excellent cured hams, the traditional, excellent pork hams with venison hams to vary the menu. The service is friendly and effective, never to wait too much, never short of a smile. Prices are decidedly convenient. Again asap!

Specialized in all kinds of prosciutto for about 15 euro's you'll get a huge plate filled with 10 kinds of ham. For 7 euro's you can order a liter of prosecco with it. The owner chef is very very kind man. He will come down and sit with you and share a glass of grappa or (Portorican rum). Besides prosciutto they have a lot of other home coocked dishes pastas at very good prices.
