Kate's Place - Albany

After being consistently disappointed and unable to find an open café in all of Albany this morning, we finally stumbled upon this hidden gem. In the moment we were there, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The portions are generous and the coffee was delicious! This will be the only café we visit when we return to Albany.

This restaurant is the perfect blend of eclectic ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service. It was unfortunate that I could only visit for one day due to renovations, but I managed to stop by twice for a cup of coffee and an orange flourless cake. I enjoyed a tasty cup of coffee in a cozy chair with my dog by my side, watching the world go by. The breakfast of avocado on toast with a poached egg was made perfectly.

The restaurant was crowded when we arrived, always a positive indicator. We were able to secure a cozy seat near the front, although there was limited table space. The staff was cordial and service was prompt. The menu had a great variety of breakfast options and additional items to choose from. The coffee was delightful and although there were shakes available, there was no fresh juice offered. The ambiance was peaceful and inviting. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Anyway, I'm in albany, I'm coming back. it's a jewel of a place. mouth watering cake and delicious coffee. soft touch, great ambiente, good service. get up!

Cosy little Cafe. All day menu which is possibly a little small, but make up for it with taste and perfection of each dish. Moderate pricing never felt I paid to much. Most importantly the chips are outstanding They also do art/photography displays which are all available for purchase. Also make the place feel fresh as they get swapped out every so often. 9/10 definitely coming back and a popular spot for locals
