Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse - Albany

Wait staff and food was great. only complaint we had was it was Valentines day and my wife was freezing even with a hoodie and jacket on. i have to agree, it was uncomforatably cold. My wife got up and went to sit in the car as fast as she could eat. Other than that, food and service were great.

The show was good the drinks were too strong friendly fast service I look forward to my next visit..

Shrimp Tempura rolls at the top. Spider roll in the bottom left and Tsunami roll in the bottom right. So good!

Waitress was friendly and helpful. We sat at a regular table and received our soup, salad, and hibachi pretty quickly. One person in our party got the sushi she ordered for her meal AFTER we were done eating hibachi. They need to work on timing of food. I know everyone was working as fast as thry could, but soup salad could've been staggered and they could've timed cooking the hibachi with the pace of the sushi chef.

Food(hibachi) was and has been excellent for years being a Albany Indian. but to be hit with 18% gratuity for taking my mom out to eat is a different story. no way should a gratuity be a must for a party of 2! disappointed at this new rule from manger! waiter rushed us upon seating for drinks and food. sushi nigiri did not stick together at all as it should.
