Its summer so we sat outside, we were the first table to arrive and besieged by wasps, as the light faded and others arrived they did leave. Its obviously a set menu but it would have been better for its contents to have been better explained so you could hold back or go for it depending on your taste. The starter on our visit was cheese, Russian salad, 2 pies, slice of aubergine, egg (missed sliced meats),, primi raviolli and a tasty trophie dish, main was a choice of rabbit, lamb and wild boar....all missed a little juice so were dry. There was also tripe. Dessert was only an ameretto cake or scoop of ice cream, which was a shame as I wanted dessert but cant have ameretto. Maybe there were spirits available with coffee but none were proposed. 140 euro for 4 plus a 3 year old is fair.2 bottles of wine, water and coffee included.

This is a nice, homely place. The owners are great, very kind, really friendly. Food is quite good. The road to get there is a bit hellish, so be prepared.
Last Saturday evening we went to Agriturismo Garumba. A real trip to go up and especially down hill for the last 200 meters. A curling small road brings you for the last 300 meters down hiil to a cosy restaurant with outside terras. The owner is a great and friendly guy bringing you all the local food and more then you can eat or drink. We had a very pleasant evening with local people and families coming from local villages around. We can recommend this restaurant to those people who want a honest price for quality and tasty food, with out all nice featurs of a expensive restaurant.. Well done and thanks!
We stayed here for 5 days with 5 adults and 4 young children all under 4 years old. The building is lovely and well kept, perched on a hillside facing north. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. Satellite TV in all the rooms and despite no wifi, the cell data service was surprisingly good. For the kids the grounds were just spacious enough, being on the hillside doesn't allow for a lot of space to run around and if they were any older it might be a little restrictive. There were plenty of interesting critters crawling around to keep their interest. On that note, while everything was definitely clean and well kept, the simple fact that of its location means there is no shortage of insects, including ants which are happy to clean up any crumbs you leave on the floor at night ; . One of the most noteworthy things about the place for those of us unaccustomed to the Italian hills is the road to get there! Once we turned off of the main road, which was curvy enough in and of itself, the narrow road down to the hotel/restaurant was an adventure the first couple of times we tackled it! The proprietor told us this is typical of the area and really no big deal, but I would say drivers who are inexperienced or unconfident in their abilities may want to leave the challenge to someone else : . Alessandro who runs the place and lives walking distance away with his family was very nice and accommodating in all respects. We ate breakfast there each day which was light and typical for Italy but he will also take requests for other things like scrambled eggs. He apparently owns quite a bit of the land in the area and has thousands of olive trees and other things that he uses in his cooking as well as for selling. We went home with jars of various jellies and olives and he also had oil and other products made from the fruits of the land. We ate dinner there two nights and it was very good both times with a typical Italian multi course meal including appetizers, pasta, main course, and dessert. The homemade bread and local wine was also great. Homemade pastas and pestos, main dishes including wild boar and rabbit from right there on the grounds, yum! Lastly, the location is, as stated, a little away from the main touristy areas which is good but still only about 20 minutes drive down to the beach and the town of Alassio. Thank you to Alessandro for his hospitality and great cooking!
