Peri-peri Charcoal Chicken

What I like at Peri Peri chicken is their variety of sauces and their tender chicken. Thankfully, this branch's chicken is tender (as I ate at some Peri Peri where chicken was overcooked). Staff was friendly and accommodating of orders, giving us automatically water and sauces, because other branches don't give you sauce unless you ask for it specifically. The only negative is it took a long time (around 10 mins) for our bill to come.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant hidden by the lower level of the Garden Wing of Alabang Town Center. We were greeted upon entering the quaint but colorful space. Apart from the Food, i would like to commend the proactiveness of the staff in recommending menu items since it was our first time dining there. Ordered the Quarter Chicken with 2 sides. I chose the coleslaw and mashed potato to go with my Chicken. Our server, gave us all flavors and was patient in explaining each one. Also got a small Plate of Patatas Bravas and Salted Egg Chicken Skin. I enjoyed both dishes. The only down side would be the Small size of the Quarter Chicken given that it was 200pesos plus per Plate. I was expecting a sizeable portion comparable to the ones a Popular rotiserrie Chicken place. We were served spring sized Chicken quarters which was a bit Sad looking. Other than that, i would probably visit again given the good flavors and varied choices on the menu which would warrant another go. Recommended.

I would give this restaurant a 4.0 for its food quality, the price is reasonable on why the dish is pricey, due to numerous spices utilized in order to resemble the African flavor, and I respect that. The service in that restaurant is acceptable, not outstanding, but acceptable enough for customers to be at least satisfied with their visit in this place. This is actually first African restaurant and I'm proud to say that my visit had no regrets at all, the food has a surprising flavor, it's either gonna punch you in the face due to its spiciness or might explode in your mouth cus of its many spices. I would recommend this to people who want to try African food. The ambiance is also acceptable, it gives off a vibe due to its color, I would suggest working on the air con because due to the mass of people, it will make the place hot and it might affect the customers who just want to enjoy the food completely. Once again, the price is reasonable for its quality and quantity. Good job!

It was our first time to try peri-peri last weekend, and it was a good decision! We loved the chicken, fried shrimp, mozzarella sticks. Their hoise water tastes kinda off tho. But we'll definitely go back.. probably on Father's day sith the whole fam!

We visited Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken on the day of their opening at Alabang Town Center. Since it was fairly new, it would be a courtesy to be a bit more forgiving for this review. We ordered the Whole Chicken and Ribs tray that included 4 side dishes and 4 bowls of rice. We also had two bowls of soup for the baby (which we opted to go unlimited for just P69), and milkshakes for the kiddos. Both the chicken and ribs are tender and fall off the bone. Each of the dips/sauces complement the grilled meat well. I personally liked the Pinakurat sauce as the tangy vinegar melds well with the grilled meats. The Broccoli Soup was also a hit with the baby and the kids. They did not know they were eating broccoli just by taking in that creamy base! I would have appreciated it more if the staff put out bottles of their sauces on the table itself, with proper labels of the names of each sauce, to orient the customers of the dip or sauce they liked best. This would also prevent the waiting game for when the waiter will replenish the sauce dish at the table. Best to hit this place up with your fellow foodie friends to experiment on the various dips/sauces that they offer.
