Al-amir Addison

Great indoor and outdoor seating! Beautiful restaurant. On weekends there is a belly dancer. Music was great and kept us really entertained. Also a dance floor. They have hookah and a bar. Food wasn’t the best. Baklava was terrible and so hard to bite into. The waitress was great! Great vibe but food can definitely be better!

Only Desi music lounge in the town with delicious Mediterranean food options. Recommend the Friday night experience at Al-Amir. The only problem is finding a parking spot if you arrive late at night.

This restaurant is fantastic! We arrived around 7 PM, just before a large crowd showed up, and they were still in the process of getting ready. The dining area is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections. We ordered a few appetizers and a platter, and I must say, the food was exceptional. The Baba Ganoujh had a delightful smoky flavor and a wonderfully smooth texture. They also provided a generous portion of pita. I highly recommend this place if you're in Addison!

This was another one of my first experiences at the restaurant. I started with the spinach rolls and then had the garlic shrimp, which were absolutely amazing—I finished every bite! My partner ordered the beef kabobs, which had fantastic flavor, though they were a bit tough. I really loved the decor and the music in the place. I will definitely come back! I always forget to take pictures before I start eating, but the food was served hot and beautifully presented, and the staff was fantastic. While we were sitting outside on the patio, we even saw people parachuting from the sky—I recorded a video of it, and it was really cool!

I visited on a Wednesday evening and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding, and the Lebanese food was some of the best I've ever tasted. The lamb kofta, grape leaves, and rice were exceptional—definitely the best I've had anywhere! The owner was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be returning often!
