Portillo's Ft. Wayne - Aboite

The onion rings were hard. I mean hard enough to break teeth on. the bread was soggy. no straws in the bag. milkshakes were good though... spent $40 and the only thing edible or good were the milkshakes

I have experienced consistent food quality at our local Portillos. Had a double cheeseburger and fries and my guest had a single cheeseburger with fries. Everything was hot, fresh and cooked perfectly.

The Italian beef is second to none! Hot,fresh, dipped and delicious! Add cheese sauce and sweet peppers and it will be one of the best sandwiches you have ever had! Great service and a cool interior! You have to try!

We have a Portillo’s by us. We refuse to eat there anymore because the food is terrible or rarely cooked properly. And the service is terrible too. Plenty of chicken sandwiches that are pink and rare on the inside. We’ve called and complained and it’s just not worth it.Driving our kid back to Indiana Tech and he wanted to eat. We reluctantly agreed to eat at this location.First the inside was well lit and felt clean. Floors weren’t slimy and sliding around on them. Ordered our food and sat down. Booths were dirty and could have used a wipe down. There was plenty of workers hanging around talking so they weren’t short staffed. But no worries we wiped ours down. Now for the food ….Chicken sandwich was exactly how I remember them tasting years ago. Cooked perfectly, everything was great. Bacon cheeseburger was exactly right too. Kid ate all of that. We had zero complaints and contemplated ordering another chicken sandwich to have the next day. It was really that good.Hopefully this is always the way they prepare the food because I’ll be hitting them again soon.

This place always brings a smile to my face. Never had a bad experience. The food is always good and hot. You may have to wait a short time for your food, but I would rather do that for quality food than have things ready instantly.
