Same folks that have JJ’s on the other side of town (also excellent). Noting this because they know food! JJ’s is called a sports bar but for a foodie they have consistently great food, regular Epicurious specials, and it is always incredibly freshsuper fresh and perfectly preparednot your typical “sports bar”. I missed trying their papa toms before it closed in Covid. I did not even know they were open again ended up popping in with my family on one of their few days back open. Absolutely spectacular and to no surprise incredibly well prepared and fresh! Added bonus is the staff. Owners, managers, and serversdozens and dozens of total dining experiences and never a bad one with this group. Kid-friendliness: Chicken tenders some of the best which the kids love and I always finish.

Just tried them for the first time after they reopened and it was very good. The shrimp basket was as good as I’ve ever had anywhere. The prices are reasonable, the service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. We will definitely be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
