Sonic Drive-in - Abilene

I understand that it has been busy this month and last month, but waiting 40 minutes for a drink and corndogs, only to receive 3 mozzarella cheese sticks instead of 4 was disappointing. Additionally, when we had to ask for sauce for the cheese sticks, the employee was rude. However, the carhop was very friendly.

Update. I did call corporate about the lack of competent service at this location. They were very polite and filed an official report on the matter. It was easy to do, and if you didn 't have the store number, it 's fine. They can find it by the address. I fully encourage others to do the same so they can flush out these very poor quality employees. I 'd be embarrassed if I couldn 't do basic adulting.I make it a point not to come to this sonic anymore. I avoid it. Terrible, customer service is horrible, and they spend more time joking in the back and accidently disconnecting their head sets to even take an order. There are a lot of sonics in abilene. I 'd suggest going to one of them.

Came by around 1045 this evening for two shakes and a large mozzarella stick. The associate was rude over the intercom and basically threw the food at us when he came out to the stall. No greeting, and no patience. I ordered a large (8) mozzarella stick and received a cold/old medium (6) mozzarella stick instead. I don't know what had him in such a bad mood, but I don't appreciate being treated poorly for no reason.

I have always been a fan of Sonic, but I will never use their drive-in service again. It took 15-20 minutes for them to respond to the call button, and then the speaker kept cutting out, making it difficult to complete my order. Even when I did manage to place my order, it took 20 minutes for my drink to be ready.

This restaurant used to be an excellent spot, but now it is in a terrible state. The food is consistently burned and the customer service is at an all-time low. It is especially frustrating when the managers are shown burnt, or even over-burnt food, and one has to argue in order to have fresh, properly cooked food made.
