Contribuiți la feedbackAs in the neighbourhood there were not many restaurants, we tried our luck at Ruza. The food is of very good quality, the prices low and the service outstanding. A warm welcome, very attentive table service and a nice digestive afterwards..; those details made it to a very pleasant experience. We'll be back!
We were there around 70-80 persons. A dinner with our own artists and singers . Nice food, nice service , great atmosphere.
We went to the restaurant with family, 4 people in total. The first impression of the restaurant ambience is very old-fashioned (and I don 't mean that in a good way). The music you hear is German Schlager . Plastic flowers on the table. Table cloth was a nice fabric, though. The menu is quite excessive, about 170 different dishes. Two of us ordered starters, a pie with ragout and a bouillon. For mains one of us wanted a filet steak, but that was out, so we ordered various other steaks (rump steak, chanterelle steak), a schnitzel and a mixed grill. When asked what the mixed grill consisted of, the waiter just said meat . On further enquiry he said that there was an option of having it with or without liver. Further questioning as to what the meat was, he answered with some sort of pork and beef and cevapcici , but he didn 't know details. In the end I did order the mixed grill (no liver) with a special order of replacing rice with potato croquettes and my french fries without salt. The ragout was ok, the pie was store bought, probably the ragout as well. Very unusual it had french fries with it. These were of course salted, the transfer of He wants his fries without salt on the mains, maybe it is the same with the starter. did not happen. The mixed grill had the standard rice, instead of the croquettes that I ordered. In total the food was ok, the rump steak was actually good. We asked the waiter about the wines. The only thing he would be able to say way that they were Croatian. After further enquiry he said that one of them would be a dry wine. The waiter was extremely hard to understand (this is a German native speaker saying that), a slurred murmur unlike anything you 've heard before. At some point after an interaction with the waiter we were thinking candid camera , unfortunately it wasn 't. No wifi. No debit cards, no credit cards accepted. Cash only.
We were back yesterday. It was another surprise for the palate. On the picture you can see chicken soup with rice and 4 coke.
Have our Christmas party celebrated there, very good atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff, great buffet
