There was no labelling on the lunch buffet and in the end only the dal was vegan (other vegetarian curries were cream-based). Maybe the à la carte menu is good for veganising dishes, but I really can’t recommend the lunch buffet.

It is really good that they offer so many clearly labelled vegan options. However, it’s a bummer that the online menu does not show if it’s vegan or not, just the menu in the restaurant. Be cautious that you may get a non-vegan chutney that wasn’t mentioned in the menu for the starters. We ordered two vegan starters and got a non-vegan sauce (containing yoghurt) that we luckily suspected before trying it. The menu doesn’t mention that you get sauces to the starters and it would be great if you were asked as guest if you want that or at least informed that one contains yoghurt. That wasn’t a great experience. The online menu mentions chutneys but if I recall correctly the one in the restaurant did not. And at least both starters were labelled vegan. The portions are quite big for the price and you get a fancy tea candle powered tish grill to keep the food warm while eating. The nearby road makes the outdoor seating unpleasant. I’m gonna inform the restaurant about the labelling on the online menu and about the non vegan sauce so it may be better in the future. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-01

No more need to rely on the knowledge of waiters: Ten main dishes and six starters are now marked vegan with a red V. The outdoor seating is pretty noisy, though, due to a nearby road. Updated from previous review on 2022-08-06
