Löwen Meilen - Zürich

There are a couple daily specials that are always good. In the summer, the terrace opens next to the lake. Pub dining area as well as a more formal dining room. Always quality food and nicely presented.

We stopped there to have lunch, and ordered the burger and the flammkuchen, and it was great! The place is nice and it is quite cheap (for Switzerland). It seems a perfect place to have some drinks in the afternoon also.

Perfect place to meet with your friends and family for an after work drink with tapas in the bar, a business lunch in the restaurant, spareribs in the "Leuegärtli" right at the lake or a simple coffee or glass of local wine just in front of this ancient and historical building. Nice, attentive service, relaxed guests

Waitress telling us "this is Switzerland here". She asked us to pay for plate we refused. Terrible feeling to be considered as foreigners as we are living here since more than 10 years.

Old inn that serves good food. Best dish was the wine soup with grapes. Not sweet. The cordon bleu was rolled and deep-fat fried. Not a hit. They serve affugato.
