Unfortunately below expectations. Most of the staff are committed (although not all); especially the Long-time residents. Bread for the starter was already very dried out. Starter (tuna/avocado tartare) very tasty. Also tried: ceviche pulpo/fennel salad, both very good. Main course good, cordon bleu unfortunately only just lukewarm, spinach very cold. After asking twice, my colleague only received the pasta side dish with the last bite of the meat. The espresso was offered as an apology, but unfortunately there was no real apologetic word. Too many mistakes for the high prices.
Oooooi... what can I say? First the good: nice place with great food! Everything around it, atmosphere, service: oiioi! Another couple arrived at the restaurant almost at the same time as us. Karsten (with a trendy mustache and his somewhat perfumed companion completely freaked out the innkeeper and his service colleague. The landlord and his colleague ran hectically through their restaurant, shouted orders for him (Karsten over our heads into the kitchen, and hardly found any time for the other guests. They were no longer able to calmly take our orders or politely answer simple questions about the origin of the meat. At the end the invoice was also incomplete (probably didn 't have time to write everything down . Obviously Karsten was an incredibly important person. It 's a shame that the staff loses their temper so much and creates a very unpleasant atmosphere. I would have liked to have been a welcome guest, but I felt more like a nuisance it certainly wasn 't a pleasant visit to a restaurant. P.S.: the snakeskin belt was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed by its task on the host 's hips. A pair of suspenders would probably have helped to save me the sight of the (sun tanned! bricklayer 's cleavage.
I truly enjoyed dinner in Kreis 6. Restaurant is located outside the centre in a friendly neighborhood, in an old villa. Elegant and cozy interiors. Gentleman who served us was very kind and professional, he described the dishes well and encouraging. We enjoyed everything we were eating. The tuna tatar, cordon bleu, soup of the day as well as the fish were delicious. I would definitely come back to this place!
Slowest service ever matched with a rude manager and a low quality food. Among worst gastronomic experiences in Zürich.
