It was always the same lady working there and she made the whole experience very positive. She was so lovely and very patient with us as our spanish wasn't too good. The food is excellent, very inexpensive! My partner and my dad both LOVED their chorizo quesadillas, and I enjoyed a Mocha Frappe with my meal every time we went. They are also one of the few restaurants open early in the town, and they do excellent breakfast so it's a win-win. They also do air conditioning so it's a great place to eat and escape some of the heat of the day! If we ever return to Zihua I would 100% visit this restaurant again.
Nice little cafe with great Mexican food. Very inexpensive and one of the very few places with A/C. What made the meal even better was the four condiments served on a tray--spicy shredded carrots, something like pickled onions with habenaros, spicy hicama, and a mild light green sauce. The nachos with guacamole and mole enchiladas were great, and the extra condiments made them out of this world. Definitely will go back. Rarely do I post reviews, but I want this little place to make it. I've included photos of the chef, place and condiments.
Went for supper, and REALLY appreciated the air conditioned dining area! Back a few streets form the beach, but definitely worth the short walk. Menus is quite extensive, with many authentic entrees. Cervezas were cold, and the food was very tasty. The enchiladas had a wonderful, slightly spicy verde sauce, and the other dishes were very tasty as well. Service was friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to eat there again! Give it a try!
