El Mediteranneo - ZIHUATANEJO

Mediterranean Restaurant, a place where everyone has a good time and memories are made. The food is good. A full bar and nice wine selection. The art gallery adds to the ambiance and tempts you. The owners welcome you with big smiles. The staff is friendly and remember little details about your preferences, i.e., favorite table, what we like to drink and more making the overall experience extra special. It is hard to decide if you want to sit on the back hacienda style patio or enjoy the action from the front dining area. Oh decisions. Looking forward to our upcoming visit.

This is great food and wonderful wine at a great price. The service is top notch. The art is for sale and I always buy a piece...it is starting to become special place. And my grow art collection is amazing too.

We just finished supper at El Meditteraneo in downtown Zihuatanejo. We sat out in the lounge along the street where all the action was. My wife ordered the red snapper fillet a Mediterraneo and I the tuna sashimi. Both dishes were outstanding! We also started with fried shrimp tacos which are a personal favourite of mine. The waiter was great and very friendly, atmosphere also amazing and food, well enough said amazing!! We will go back a couple of more times yet for sure. Price was mid to upper end compared with what else can be had but worth every penny. Four beers, sashimi, red snapper fillet, and shrimp tacos for 500 pesos is more than fair. I cannot believe how good great food is here for very reasonable prices even at the upscale establishments! Hit this place for sure when you come to Zihua. This was our first time in 6 years of coming and needless to say we will be back!!!,

The ambiance is relaxed. Beautiful Paintings on the wall. There is one of a woman smoking a cigar... My favorite, ask the owner about the story behind that..Love the atmosphere and food. Very good service too.

This is one of my and my friend Carol's very favorite restaurants. We both love the Tuna Sashimi. On our first night there there was no tuna available so we had the calamari and Caesar salads. When we went back a week or so later they had the Tuna. Besides the tuna I also had the crab cakes which are good for a warm water crab. They serve the most wonderful cheese bread.
