China Garden - Zermatt

Es muss in Zermatt ja nicht immer etwas mit Käse sein – der Abend auf der Terrasse des China Garden war sehr gemütlich und wir wurden ausserordentlich nett bedient. Die gemischten Vorspeisen haben uns zwar nicht völlig überzeugt (ein wenig fettig), dafür waren die Hauptspeisen (Ente mit dreierlei Saucen und Gong bao Huhn) ausgesprochen lecker. Gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich wie in China.Die Ente war super knusprig und das Sezchuan sehr fein gewürzt!Der Service war auch sehr freundlich.

This is a lovely restaurant on a side street in Zermatt with both inside and outside dining. The meal was superb with plenty of delicious choices and the staff were so welcoming, polite, helpful and very friendly. Prices were reasonable and mid range but the dinning was a great experience and first class. It was a delight and drew us back a couple of times. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome and for such terrific service.

The food was amazing. We had mix veg , asparagus veg , mushroom dish were all superb. The noodles were outstanding. They have cover charge of 25 francs which I thought was little unfair. Catherine who was from canada was very helpful . She made all the difference.

The soup was not tasty but pretty salty, and the vegetables in the fried rice wasn't heated enough. Also the staff was rather rude, and so busy clearing up our table even though we were still waiting for her to finish the payment and we couldn't leave the restaurant soon. I don't think we want to go there again or to recommend friends to visit.
