Chez Vrony - Zermatt

Fantastic place on the mountain, amazing views, amazing setting, and amazing food. This is a must for any traveler coming to Zermatt. Book ahead in the winter, summer is a little easier to get a table. Having been coming to Zermatt for over 20 years, and now living here, this is the place to stop during your summer hikes or winter skiing. Truly one of our mountain favorites.

We came here for lunch two days ago (June 27) while doing the 5 Lake hike. It's a bit of a detour but nothing too much and totally worth it. I think all the reviews say this, but it's just so amazing and special. The ambience is so unique like fancy high alpine design meets hiking casual. It's fur throws, feathers and picnic tables. The food is beyond. We got the meat and cheese boards and the burgers . . . I highly suggest splitting the burgers even the small is giant. We missed out on dessert because we ate too much of the food, ha ha. Beware if you drink alcohol and plan to hike back up to the lifts it's just a bit harder!!! But all part of the challenge. Don't miss this!

Chez vrony idt exceptional. necessarily visit. whether with the sunegga railway or too fuss, here you can relax perfectly and get pampered in a culinary way. the terasse offers from cozy lying above large tables to the round oddf high table all kinds.Before, however, I have never eaten so well in a mountain restaurant. and yes, friendly they are here too.
