Z Town Cafe - Zelienople

I've been in the Pittsburgh area for nearly a decade, and I can confidently say this is the best chili around. It's the best chili I've ever had, hands down. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff. The menu offers affordable and delicious options. It's everything you're looking for in a charming small-town eatery.

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the chili was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I initially thought the portions would be small or the food quality low given the prices, but I was pleasantly surprised by both the portion size and the quality. I also came across a previous review by Mimi who wondered how garlic could taste sour, and I found out there’s actually a reason for that. When food suppliers jar minced garlic, they add citric acid and water as preservatives, which can give the garlic a slightly sour flavor before cooking. I tried the mashed potatoes, and I found them quite tasty.

I absolutely love the fries! I appreciate any restaurant that takes the time to prepare fresh-cut fries, and their sandwiches are fantastic! They also make all their delicious soups from scratch, which is becoming quite rare these days. I can't go through Zelienople without making a stop there. I really wish they'd open a location in Butler, PA! By the way, they offer free Wi-Fi as well—just ask for the password when you place your order.

EXCELLENT. What can I say? The Wisconsin Cheese soup is phenomenal. His menu is wide-ranging, even veggie burgers and ice cream.

We had breakfast and it was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly the portions were plentiful and the taste was perfection. They only have one server but she is so efficient and fast she can serve quickly whether the place is crowded or not. By the way, the price for any of the breakfast's is $5.00.
