The staff was helpful in their explanations and happy to let us try a wide range of items in turn. The oxtail was yummy n full bodied. The Polpo was tender, the goose liver pate shavings served with Toast was delicious! The intestines were deep fried n chewy, rather interesting. I felt like some vegetables and requested to have some eggplant. Consequently the kind chef cooked me a delightful Eggplant burger with truffle it was complex and exciting! For dessert we ordered bread pudding with curd cake this was a large serving, rather filling, like a caramel pudding.
Really pleasant experience , restaurant best described as casual dinning but dont be put off. Tapas selection diverse wonderful. wine selection exceptional if lost just take guidance from the proprietor. I had the set meal €30.00 salad , fish dish , meat dish pudding including half bottle of wine , bottle of water coffee beat that? Wife son too hung over so stayed with tapas! Really hospitable staff who speak very little English but made every attempt to be helpful. I booked this via Fork , a word of caution when using the Fork, the booking was for 1600hrs 1/1/17 having taken the sensible approach of checking it out 31/12/16 we were told the kitchen actually closed at 1600hrs!!!
