Contribuiți la feedbackWe expected a great experience, as we have tried for 10 days to get a reservation...upon arrival there were only 2 others dining...the total arriving that night before 9 was 6 dinners... we ordered the lobster, onion and fish soups...wine (bottle) and added the salad before the soup arrived.,, we were served the salad, it was delicious,,,then the soups...no fish in the fish soup (it was not intended to be a bisque)...onion soup no flavor at all...just water and bread w/ cheese on top...we waited and waited for the lobster 35 minutes after the soup...finally ask the server...he canceled the order becuase we ordered the salad...this was ridiculous...we then order dessert...i can not make a more negative comment...stale old cake and runny ice-cold creme brulee...soooo disappointed...terrible experience...also paper napkins!!!
I have not been chez nene for a long time because of the construction going on for age in this part of the city and I accept an invitation from some friends willing to eat a true couscous the north africa arabic speciality. The couscous served in this restaurant is as good of the best have eaten las year during my visit to Marrakech /Marroco, also the portions were gorgeous. I had a look at the menu and enconter very good tipical plate like boulabaise , Cassoulet, Venado all at reasonable prices. We paid for the couscous the equivalent of 25 dollars and the other plates at 20 dollars each, a real bargain if we consider high quality and generous portion, what the mexican clients like in restaurant. Friendly and quick service, manwhile wating you could sip a real pastis. The only remark is about the price of the wine, 50 dollars a bottle of beaujolais nouveau or the same price for a rose seems to mi a little expensive. But because the quality of the rest and the entertainement with the patron still its reasonables prices for a very good genius french food.
¡Delicioso!
