Granada Greec Tavern - Zakynthos

I had the beans in tomato sauce with roast potatoes and absolutely loved it. The food was worth it and they also have a vegetarian menu with some fully vegan options and others that can be easily veganized. The menu has been updated since my last review in August 25, 2023.

My partner and I decided to visit this restaurant to sample some authentic Greek cuisine. When we inquired about vegan options, the waiter informed us that he could prepare a special vegan platter for two at a cost of 20€. The dish was incredibly tasty and it was evident that it was cooked with care and attention to detail. I highly recommend visiting this establishment and requesting their vegan offerings, as they will cater to your needs superbly!

We visisted this restaurant 5 times during our holiday in Zakynthos. The restaurant was family owned and the owner was very friendly and willing to explain which dishes are suitable for us as vegans. We have eaten the best greek food during our holiday at this restaurant! The domaldes were perfect, the briam was very lovely spiced and baked and the fried zuchini/eggplant were delicous. The mother of the owner makes all the dishes and you can really taste the love and time they put into it! Furthermore, the food isn't expensive at all our total bill, including drinks usually was about 20 euros. Updated from previous review on 2021 07 04

During our vacation in Zakynthos, we visited this restaurant 5 times. It is a family-owned establishment with a very friendly owner who was knowledgeable about vegan options. We had the best Greek food of our vacation here! The dolmades were perfect, the bratwurst was deliciously spicy and baked, and the fried zucchini and eggplant were fantastic. The owner's mother prepares all the dishes with a lot of love and care, which really shines through in the flavors. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable - our entire bill, including drinks, was usually around 20 euros. Highly recommended! (Updated review as of July 4, 2021)
