Batak Grill - Zagreb

If you are in Zagreb and want to eat somewhere good I definitely recommend any of the Batak Grills. Delicious food and attentive service.

A bit slow service but super tasty food. I wish ajvar portion was a bit bigger but getting them two solved that problem.

Great steak, excellent grilled veggies. Ask your waiter fir the wine recommendation, mine was truly well matched. 4 stars for service not because of the waiter, but because galley took a bit too long to prepare the food. Place was quite busy (Monday) , perhaps it's a good idea to make reservation even for the lunch time. 4 stars for atmosphere too it is a grill restaurant so it was expected for the interior furnishings to be dark wood and brown leather, however a bit more subtle, scattered light fixtures would be better, especially in fall and winter months when it's dark and cloudy outside, as there where we sat not much natural light gets in.
