Contribuiți la feedbackToday when we got to Catania and thought we were going to a restaurant that was a part of Unione Ristoranti del Buon Ricordo. The restaurant is no longer a part of the group, but it is now listed by Michelin and Chef Seby Sorbello is a regular on Top Italian Chef 2017. When asked about the upcoming Michelin rating, the Chef said he was listed 3 months ago and will be happy if he gets one star to start I would think! Gianni, our waiter, took great care of us. His unobtrusive and unpretentious manner was superb. He was knowledgeable and gracious in sharing the details of each morsel he served us. The chef prepared creative dishes from locally acquired ingredients. His concoctions were artful both visually and in taste. Awesome dining experience and a bargain for lunch!! IT WAS GREAT!
We enjoyed a 2 5 hour feast at Parco dei Principi (the Sabir Gourmanderie part). It is not cheap but good food very rarely is. I can 't remember having food on that level for such a low price. The starter selection Terre turned out to consist of three masterfully crafted individual courses. The risotto and veal filet were great. Three intermediate dishes were added by the restaurant. In addition, all the details checked out: for instance, excellent bread variation and olive oil, and the Grappe in the end were fantastic, too. Our wine got upgraded to an older vintage for free. As a side note: I don 't understand a previous comment about no fish dishes, half the menu was fish!? Do yourself a favor and visit if you 're in the area.
We had our last dinner in Sicily at this location. Honestly a little disappointing. From outside it looks like a great location but the restaurant is not the greatest set up. Not very cosy or Italian, a lot of white light. The food is good no great. Our two steaks both a little but to dark grilled. No fish on the menu. The people servicing you not very interested. While talking to them they look away and answer their colleagues. Around this place you can find much better places see my other reviews.
Ancora una volta bella esperienza. Fine piatti ben presentati e eccellenti nel gusto e nella preparazione. Ottima cantina Atmosfera rilassante. Personale molto gentile e professionale. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono
