Royal Malta Golf Club - Zabbar

What a beautiful day in this quirky but challenging course; despite a temp green. Concierge found us a booking early in the morning and we rented brand new M6 clubs and a great shopping cart. The course was beautifully presented and the greens were spotless and tested. Staff during the complex friendly and friendly and we had a light lunch on their terrace restaurant before our return to the hotel. Malta's only course is obvious, but sunk in history and is also one of only 60 clubs that can call themselves Royal. If you are on the island, do not miss it over its weight and is worth a role.

The only golf course in Malta. Has it up and down, but usually to be a good place. Beautiful roof terrace in summer. The beer is cold! Huge plans to update Greens to USGA standard.

For the first time back to Malta after the pandemic for Jen and I and what a change. The course is very well presented and is now a green oasis in an otherwise dry country. The subtle improvements of the course since we last played in early 2019 and the upgrades to the driving range make it an excellent setup today. Lunch was up to its usual standard and the only drawback of the day was that due to the local '19 health rules to close the restaurant at 17 o'clock has us a second bottle of wine in this unique restaurant (the terrace is actually located between the 1st and 2nd hole). Plan to play twice more while we are in Malta and really look forward to it.

We had two days at the golf academy with Preston and it was so much fun. Many thanks to Henning and RMG for such a fun meets a few days. Preston is a great professional and made the lessons so pleasant and appealing.

We came for Easter lunch and we were pleased to have chosen this place. Food tasted great and the ambience is beautiful with the green golf course around. Definitely will be back to enjoy this place
