Furusato - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

The food was great. Probably some of the best sushi I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The server I didn't speak English, but it was nice and with all the pictures on the menu order was quite simple. I had two sushi roles, an avocado and one with my opinion salmon. I also had the spicy seafood soup that was fine, but not my favorite. Coming from Louisiana, my definition of wicy is somewhat different than here lol. The presentation of the food was nice and I like the quite played atmosphere. This restaurant is literally right opposite the train station, so it is in a really good area and easy to find. I'd come back.

Large cozy Japanese restaurant with staff that could speak English. Sashimi was super fresh (I think this is standard over Sakhalin) and the king Crab was also good. Good stop if you are inside the station and not difficult to find.

I would come back.
