While the food and staff were excellent this location is overdue for a deep cleaning and refinishing.
We really enjoyed ourselves at Famous Dave’s. We celebrated my birthday with dinner there. Our waitress was very New this was her 4 th day working there and she did a terrific job waiting on us. I know we will go back to Famous Dave’s for dinner
I was really disappointed with the management in that NO reservation accommodations were made for our Holiday dinner. I call ahead and was told all the reservations had to be made with Kenny and when our group arrived the staff had NO instructions about the pre-organized sitting. The only priority I had asked for is one group seating in the side room. Our group was crammed into groupings and we were uncomfortably close together. Very frustrating because there was only ONE family in the back room so with a minute of staff communication it could have been ideal. We asked about the arrangements and the on duty manager had no idea and made clear she had NO instructions about our group. When the food came out, the carriers just yelled out the order, no idea to whom the food belonged. My personal experience with the Cajun Chicken Sandwich was the chicken was so hard only a couple bites were possible and the service was so hectic it seemed impossible to return without further affecting the service my friends were receiving. Famous Daves is good with two people but lesson learned on twenty two people. Holiday dinner is our only gift to our team and this year our gift was not at all what we had hoped.
The food and server were very good. The reservation app didn't work! I got a confirmation email with a confirmation number but the restaurant did not have our reservation information. We were a party of eight and the only way we could get seated was to split up in fours at two booths. The manager worked with us for this seating and we appreciated her. The reservation app was at fault, not the restaurant.
